He has extensive retail automotive experience as well as consulting to major auto dealer groups and manufacturers. Rich is a graduate of La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Vermont to be near his family.

    Dave Lewis was the second generation owner-operator of Lewis Motors, until recently selling the company to the locally owned Shearer Automotive Group.  Dave is a graduate of Norwich University and lives in Charlotte with his wife Karyn, his two children Sarah and Alex, and his dog Otis. 

    Dave is now a partner with his friend Bill Shearer, the new owner, and will work as a Consultant and Special Projects Manager.

    Chris has been working here since August 2009 but has been with Shearer Pontiac and Chevrolet for about 5 years. Chris is a native Mainer, born and raised. Best Buy introduced him to Vermont when he Grand Opened the store as a General Manager. Now Chris lives with his wife and their awesome 4 month old daughter. Chris enjoys golfing, basketball and football and traveling all over the world. Chris also served in the Military during Desert Storm.

    David started here at Shearer Acura Audi Volkswagen in Mid September 2011!

    He grew up in Bethlehem, Penn. and graduated from Delaware Valley College.

    David retired from the Florida Dept. of Agriculture, and now lives in Vermont with his wife. His wife is a registered nurse, and they have two children. His daughter lives in D.C and works as a School Teacher, his son also lives in D.C. and works as a Technical Writer.

    In his spare time he enjoy Auto Racing, Collecting Antique Radios, and Amateur (ham) Radio. A fun fact: David, his wife, and his two children all drive Volkswagens!

    She grew up in Middlebury, VT and currently lives in Winooski. She has two grown daughters ages 22 and 20, they are out on their own!

    In the winter she likes to hibernate! She is a football & basketball fan. In the Summer she likes to garden, go camping, kayaking, reading, going to the beach, and just being outside.

    Karen LOVES animals, she has 4 cats, and 1 dog!

    Tom started with Shearer Acura Audi Volkswagen late January 2011. He was born and raised in Reading, Massachusetts, and attended school in Mass. He has been living and working in Pennsylvania for the past 17 years and spent the last five years working for Vision Audi Porsche Volkswagen in Leesport, Pa. Tom enjoys fishing, hunting, skiing, and has played baseball for most of his adult life! He also enjoys cooking, gardening, and hiking the Appalachian Trail. He's looking forward to hiking the Long Trail! Tom is the father of two, and a Grand father of two. Tom is also a Real Estate Agent with a license in Penn.

He lived in Boulder, CO for 4 years and has been back in Burlington for the past 4 years living on Mallett's Bay. Browne worked for Toyota for 3 years and has been an Arborist/Tree Climber for 15 years. Browne enjoys skiing, snowboarding, motorcycling, golf, music, movies, history, travel, archery, fishing, hiking, canoeing, swimming, rock climbing and great food. Browne is a 7th Generation Vermonter and his family dates back to 1765.

She loves the car business the most because she enjoys helping people and she enjoys providing a fun and exceptional customer service experience. When Megan isn't working she enjoys drive-in movie theaters in the summer, going for walks, hanging out with her Boxer (Mr. Ziggy Smalls!) and going out for Sunday brunch!

He has worked for various local businesses like VT Tent Company, and Bolton Valley Resort. He currently also works at Flatbread Factory Shelburne, and the Stowe Mountain Resort. Tom's hobbies include snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding, and motorcycles!

    Ryan grew up in Chicago, Illinios and is a die hard Cubs and Bears fan. He moved to Vermont in 2001 and spent 6 years in the Food Industry. After that Ryan began his journey in the car business with Heritage Toyota. Before coming to the Shearer Auto Group this winter, Ryan took the summer off and played with his band "Cash is King" in over 13 States. He is an avid and passionate musician.

    Brian works with our wholesale customers for Volkswagen and Audi parts.  He has been with the Audi/Volkswagen Parts Department over 8 years, and his automotive experience goes back even further when he previously worked for Imported Car Center.  Brian is an expert fisherman, a pretty good golfer, and a lifelong Montreal Canadians fan.

    He has two children and three grandchildren! Roy recently worked at a local Harley Davidson Dealership and he truly believes that Customer Service is #1

    He loves music, playing guitar, camping, boating, skiing, spending time with friends and family, and of course riding his Harley and spoiling his Grandchildren!

    Roy played music live with his band "Bad Horsey" for over six years and he has played music since he was nine years old.

He recently came to us from PJ's, and hasn't missed a beat. Eric is a big time Boston Bruins fan, and enjoys playing sports. We are fortunate to have Eric as a member of the Audi/Volkswagen Parts department.

    Jesse grew up in St. Johnsbury, Vermont and graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy in 2002. Jesse then went to the Nascar Technical Institute in Mooresville, NC and graduated in October 2003. After that, Jesse attended the Volkswagen Academy in Allentown, PA and graduated from there in February 2004. Jesse started working at this dealership in February 2004. Jesse currently lived in Georgia, VT with his wife Mandi, and no kids. Jesse enjoys running demolition derbies and truck pulling, and taking vacations to warm places.

    Dan is originally from Sarasota Florida, but now he is a true Vermonter. Dan enjoys fishing, hunting, and being around cars, whether its working on them or driving them.  Dan learned to work on cars at a young age, and perfect many of his skills when he attended Wyotech Automotive School. The Shearer Auto Group is glad to have Dan as a Volkswagen Technician, and we are excited about his future with the company.

    Brennan is a native Vermonter and grew up in Charlotte. He worked at Point Bay Marina, and attended UTI School for Automotive. He enjoys snowshoeing, boating camping, water-skiing, and has been with Volkswagen South Burlington for coming up on a year!

    Javier is from the Dominican Republic. He has been working on cars since 2003. Previous to coming to the Shearer Auto Group he was employed at a Mercedes Dealership in the Dominican. One of the reason's Javier moved away was because of the extreme heat, he found the right place in Vermont. Javier is married, and on his free time he enjoys; mountain biking, tennis, skiing and pretty much anything outdoors. Javier trained at Wyotech Technical Institute, and is one of our brightest upcoming technicians in the company.

    Derek has been here since September 2010. He grew up in Hinesburg Vermont, and attended VTC as an Automotive Technician. He worked at Import Car Center for 10 years, and when an opportunity opened up here at Volkswagen South Burlington he jumped on it. He currently lives in Hinesburg with his girlfriend Stephanie. He loves live music/outdoor festivals, Hip-hop, and electronics. Videos games, PS3 Castlevania, graffiti, art, and other urban artwork forms. He has an extensive CD collection that he has maintained since High School. Almost 300 albums in their original cases!

    Jeff started here at Volkswagen South Burlington July 5th, 2011!

    He grew up in a small town 45 minuets north of Philadelphia, PA, and attended Palisades High School.

    He moved here to Vermont to work as a technician at another dealership (which didn't work out). He has been living in Vermont for a little over a year now, is married with two young boys and two step daughters!

    He is an Audi/VW enthusiasts and owns a 1993 Audi S4. Most of his spare time is spent with his family!

    He grew up in South Burlington Vermont, graduated from SBHS in 1993, and lives in Milton. Sean loves to ski, and ride motorcycles, as well as spend time with his girlfriend and his Chocolate Lab (who thinks he's ½ human)! Sean spends the weekends at his family's camp on Lake George, NY. He loves to swim, play tennis, and bug his girlfriend!

    Courtney has been with Shearer Automotive for 20 months and joined the VW team in January 2012.

    Courtney grew up in Charlotte, VT and currently lives in Mallet's Bay Colchester. She attended Rice Memorial High School.

    Before she came to work with the Shearer team, she worked at Freedom Nissan for 4 years, Bill Heard Chevrolet in Columbus, GA, as well as a Mercedes/Volvo dealership in Georgia.  She loves to work in the car business, she says "The people you get to work with make it all worth it, it's like a big family!"

    In her spare time she likes to ride her bike, and spend time with her loved one! This includes her 5 dogs 11 year old Choc. lab Trucker, 8 year old yellow lab Sugar, 6 year old Chihuahua Delilah, choc. lab mix Chip, and Terrier mix rescue Sadie! She says, the beach in the summer with the labs is the best! She also enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, snowboarding, adn watching sports.

    A fun fact about Courtney is she was adopted at Birth through Lund Family Center.

    She moved to Las Vegas in 2003 came back to Vermont in 2006, and came back to Shearer! She grew up in South Burlington. She currently lives in St. George with her husband, Pat. She has one son who teaches at Milton High School, and two stepchildren.

    She likes to go to the casinos, playing cards, and the ocean.

    Tim grew up in the town of New Haven with his four brothers and five sisters. He went to Mt. Abe high school and has worked as a Landscaper for the past 20 years. Tim has enjoyed sports since he was in school. he plays softball, shooting pool and bowling. Tim also enjoys chainsawing, working outdoors on firewood, and snowmobiling in the winter. Tim has two King Charles Spaniels, Roy and Athena.

    Chip was born in New Jersey and moved to Southern Vermont with his family in 1971. He attended Bellows Falls Union High School in Bellows Falls Vermont, moved to Burlington in 1980 and has lived there ever since. Chip joined the Shearer Auto group in June 2010. He began his career in cars in 1989 in sales and since has worked in every department at a car dealership.He now gets to combine his enthusiasm of cars with his forte in computers! When Chip isn't saving the day here at work he enjoys sailing, snowboarding, cycling, photography, motorcycles, and of course computers!

When she's not working for Shearer Acura Audi Volkswagen she is busy coaching Hunt Middle School Field Hockey (in the fall), playing field hockey in an adult league (year-round), going to school, and being a full-time mom to her 4 year old son Noa!

    Ben began his career here in our Audi Volkswagen parts department, had a brief stop in Internet Maintenance, and is now is Volkswagen sales starting February 1, 2012.

    He was born and raised in Vermont, grew up in Shelburne, and now lives in Burlington. He went to UVM 2005-2009 and graduated with a Major in History and Minor in Cultural Anthropology. Ben loves to play Ice Hockey, and Basketball. He has been a HUGE UVM Hockey fan since he was seven. He did a Marine Biology conservation project in New Zealand, it's the most beautiful place he's ever been. He hopes to retire there someday!
