I came to VW to look at a hatchback or station wagon which would provide good fuel efficiency, drive well on curvy mountain roads and in snow, be comfortable to drive, comfortable for passengers including small children and dogs, allow for easy loading sports equipment, gardening supplies, pets and baby equipment, have a sun roof, look sharp and have low maintenance. Chris gave me information to review on my first visit and followed up with a call, but there was no pressure. It wasn't needed as they have great products. Chris helped me to focus on the Jetta SportWagen TDI and I have been very pleased with it. It is fun to drive and I literally pump about half the gas that I used to pump for my VW Passat. I looked at other cars at other dealerships, but I kept coming back to the VW Jetta SportWagen. Chris answered all of my questions about the features of the car.

It was actually fun to get a car here. Browne was low pressure, knowledgeable and patient. We were encouraged to take the vehicle for a long test drive, which ended up being the deciding factor. Overall good experience. We love our Tiguan!

VW of South Burlington found exactly the car I wanted. Currently, the VW Golf, 4-door automatic is hard to come by. They managed to locate one for me with the extras I was looking for. They were nice to deal with, helpful and accommodating. The transaction was a breeze from start to finish!

Tom was very helpful and friendly. He approached me immediately, but not in the in-your-face, gotta-sell-it-now kind of way. It was a stress-free shopping experience, and even though I decided not to make a purchase that day, I will definitely keep South Burlington Volkswagen in mind should I finally settle on a VW.

Went and purchased Jetta TDI. I loved Tom our salesman. He was really friendly, willing to help and answer all of the questions. He really cared about customer service and making sure we were happy with the purchase, which is hard to find now days. I would highly recommend Tom, you won't regret it!!!!!

My wife and I were very pleased with the sales and purchase process that the salesman (Tom Rykr) and finance manager (Dan) gave us. The process was simple, not in our face and efficient, very unlike other dealers we have been too. Their follow through to complete a couple of outstanding issues was also completed swiftly.

My experience not only with Volkswagen of South Burlington is by far, the easiest, most pleasurable car purchase I have ever done. Last Thursday I called this dealership around 2PM having been disappointed unfortunately with a more local dealer in my neighborhood. Browne Mills spoke with me at length about my needs and fully understood I wanted a car the next day if possible.
First he made sure he had the car I desired on the lot and secured it, not having ever met me over the phone. He went far beyond any expectation of spending additional time with me on the phone /internet while enduring power outages on my end. He and the entire staff made it possible for me to drive out of there the following afternoon by 1PM.
I drove away there with the exact car I desired including my trade-in, registration of new car, and the easiest, friendliest, not pushy fiancée department ever. In a matter of hours I had traded in my car and drove away in the nicest car I have owned thus far... and that is coming from an Acura MDX and Audi (both new)..


Bravo for excellence in service! I highly recommend the personal care, expertise and professionalism in using this dealership. The dealerships dedication to customer service is evident. They made me feel my relationship with them did not end the moment I signed on the bottom line but would continue throughout my ownership. If the post-purchase experience is as positive as what I have seen so far I will seriously consider becoming a repeat customer. My only complaint is that the description of the used vehicle on the website was not accurate and this over-inflated the perceived value of the vehicle.

We had an issue with getting me the car that I purchased from the port. We waited 10 days and saw no end in sight...they called me and gave me a better car for the same price. That was a stand up move in my move. My hats off to the team to make it happen. My daughter got her car for Christmas, and she is very, very happy...Thanks for your support in making this happen. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a VW / Audi in Vermont...

My experience with South Burlington VW was the easiest sales experience I have EVER had with any dealership. My salesman Terry Wetmore has the best personality and makes you feel comfortable and at ease. He is a joy and easy to get a hold of and you can ask any question without feeling like it's a silly one. I would highly recommend VW of South Burlington and Terry Wetmore!!!!

Our only negative experience with this dealership was being passed off to 2 other sale people before we were finally introduced to our sales person. We had a really great experience with Browne. If it hadn't been for his attitude and personality we probably would have gone elsewhere. Instead of searching elsewhere for a better deal, we decided to do our business in S. Burlington because of him.

I just purchased a 2011 VW Golf TDI and am very happy with the experience and the customer service I received at Volkswagen South Burlington. I was indecisive and Ken and Chris were very patient and willing to do whatever I needed to feel comfortable with my choice. They worked with me on the price and found the car I decided on. I was also working with two other dealers who both turned me off with their attitudes, tactics and inattention to detail. Ken and Chris were great!

I wasn't planning on buying a car at this time, but in a very low pressure way, I was made aware of a drop in price of a car I had test driven. The lower price and low pressure atmosphere convinced me to buy. I'm very satisfied with my experience at Volkswagen South Burlington.

Very good service and I feel that I got a very good price. I took the car on 2 test drives and felt very little pressure to "seal the deal". They did not try to sell me anything I didn't want. They explained all of the cars features to me. Sales person was very personable.
